torrential static is an immersive video installation that utilizes found materials, desaturates their coloring, and arranges them to an audio composition. in this installation, found materials are dropped in front of the camera lens. in post production, color is desaturated with new allocations of pigments added to the materials. the environment is designed with used cardboard in order to spatially appropriate the image to the viewer. the audio composition utilizes the software of Protools and the collaboration of a Hollywood based recording studio. the score is spoken word and the conglomeration of 20 autonomous forms of static from the urban environment.
