Directions for the PROJECT/ PRESENTATION
- I. Create a new “CHILD” web-page under your Biography Page.

II. Title the page “RESEARCH”, a research looks at information gathered from the web focusing on a particular type of business. Essentially you will be creating a resource guide focusing on your business.
This assignment is designed to familiarize you with the effective use of search engines on the web for INDUSTRY RESEARCH. The “RESEARCH page should include links to appropriate sites with a descriptive statement regarding the site as a resource.

- III. Each individuals guide must link to at least 3 resources. The resource guide should focus on the company that you are creating. Be sure to split the categories within your company up with different focuses, DO NOT DUPLICATE LINKS WITHIN YOUR COMPANY!!.
- PROJECT EXAMPLE: If I am opening a company that sells bicycles:
- Group Member 1 – will look into WEBSITES OF wholesalers where we can purchase bikes for the store.
- Group Member 2 – will check WEBSITES OF buying resources for purchasing a car
- Group Member 3 – will check WEBSITES OF online auctions, online classifieds, etc.
- Group Member 4 – will look into WEBSITES OF locations to purchase bike accesory.

- IV. After you have chosen a resource be sure to write atleast 3 sentences about the site answering the questions below. Add an additional sentence for ranking between 1-5 for the effectiveness of accomplishing each of the questions. (1 = not effective at all, and 5 = Amazing!! )
- 1 – How easily do you feel it is to get the information you are looking for on the site.
- 2 – Is the web design effective? What aspects do you like about the style, design, products on the site?
- 3 – How would you design this site differently, or what aspects do you feel you should use for your site.

- V. After you created your “RESEARCH PAGE”, ensure that all your resources link to the page you are referencing.
